This is my personal blog. I use it to write pointlessly about politics, sports and whatever else has my attention at the moment. I should note that I am more than a little concerned about the future of democracy in general and our republic in particular. Said concerns are, of course, pointless on my part.
I started writing as a military journalist and public affairs specialist for the U.S. Air Force after growing up in the suburbs of New York City. After nearly a decade in the service where I became a full-blown media junkie, I spent 15 years as a professional writer and communicator in the private and public sectors primarily working in PR agencies.
A small-L libertarian who yearns the day when people start caring about the Tenth Amendment again, my other dreams include the Houston Texans winning the Super Bowl. My wife of 20-plus years, Linda, and I have no children possessing less than four legs.
